Late-Breaking Abstract Submission

NIDO 2026 is now accepting Late-Breaking Abstract submissions.
Late-Breaking Abstracts are intended for important and timely research findings that became available only after the regular abstract submission deadline.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Late-Breaking Abstract category, submissions must meet the following requirements:

  • The abstract must present original and unpublished material at the time of submission.
  • The research should include new and timely findings that were not available before the regular abstract deadline.
  • Abstracts that have already been submitted to NIDO 2026 are not eligible.
  • Submissions that are substantially similar to another abstract from the same study may be rejected.
  • Abstracts that are primarily intended to promote a product or service rather than present scientific content will not be accepted.
  • The presenting author must register for NIDO 2026 and complete full payment to confirm participation and presentation.

The Scientific Committee reserves the right to determine whether a submission qualifies for the Late-Breaking Abstract category.

Points to note regarding Abstract Submission

1. General Guidelines for Submission

  • The NIDO 2026 accepts Abstract for oral presentation and poster presentation. Please indicate your preference in your submission.

2. Procedure

  • All abstracts must be submitted via the system at https://symposium.nido2026.com/login Submissions by other means, such as email, post, or fax, will NOT be processed.
  • The abstract submission platform closes upon the deadline. Early submission is recommended to avoid last-minute system congestion. Late entries will NOT be considered.
  • You may use the “Save Draft” function to save any work in progress. Once you click the “Submit” button, modifications will no longer be possible. 
  • Upon successful submission, you will receive an acknowledgment email within 24 hours. It contains a reference number, which should be quoted in all future correspondence. In case you do not receive it, please contact submission@nido2026.com.
  • The Scientific Committee will conduct a confidential peer review procedure, and its decision is final.
  • You will be notified of the results by email on or before 15 May 2026.In case you would like to withdraw your abstract after submission and/or acceptance, please email your request to the NIDO 2026 Secretariat at submission@nido2026.com.

3. Authors’ and Submitters’ Roles

  • Each abstract may be attributed to a maximum of one (1) FIRST AUTHOR. The first author should obtain each co-author’s consent before including their names.
  • Provide full names and affiliations of all authors as they should be published. Initials are accepted only for middle names.
  • The first author is the PRESENTING AUTHOR by default, but may delegate the role to a co-author if necessary. The presenting author must register for NIDO 2026, pay the registration fee, and attend the event to make the presentation in person.
  • For oral presentations, each individual can serve as the presenting author of up to three (3) papers. There is no limit on the number of posters one may present.
  • The SUBMITTER can be any of the authors or an authorized representative. They will be the contact person for all abstract-related matters, including result notifications. Please make sure they provide a correct email address which they regularly check.

4. Academic Requirements

  • Authors should ensure the study is conducted with sound methodology and has sufficient data leading to conclusive outcomes.
  • Each author must disclose any financial interest via the submission platform.
  • The abstract title and body text must NOT mention the names of any individuals or affiliated institutes (e.g. academic institutions, hospitals, research centers). Violation of this rule will result in disqualification. Affiliations should be declared separately under author information.

5. Language and Structure

  • The NIDO 2026 accepts submissions in English.
  • If the language of writing is not your mother tongue, it is recommended that you invite a native speaker to proofread and/or edit the work before submission.
  • Each English abstract should contain a concise TITLE written in AMA style. You may use online title capitalization tools as a quick reference.
  • The body text should include the following sections: BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES, METHODS, RESULTS and CONCLUSIONS.
  • The length of the body text must NOT exceed 400 English words.
  • Abbreviations should be avoided in the title. When used in the body text, each abbreviation should be defined the first time it appears by placing its full form in parentheses.
  • Do not include graphs, tables, images or references in the abstract.
  • Authors should ensure the accuracy of facts, spelling and grammar. The Scientific Committee , however, reserves the right to edit any significant spelling and grammatical mistakes.

6. Copyright

  • The NIDO 2026 holds the copyright to all the materials presented at the Symposium and may reproduce the materials in any form for distribution.

7. Decision Types on Posters or Oral Presentation

  • Applicants should indicate whether “Poster Presentation”, or “Oral Presentation” is preferred in the submission portal here. Kindly note that you may be allocated a mode of presentation that is different from your preferred choice. This will be communicated in advance of the meeting.

Poster Guidelines

  • All posters should be printed in advance and brought to the Symposium by the presenters.
  • The posters must be printed in Portrait A0 size: 841 mm(W) x 1189 mm(H).
  • The title should be emphasised in boldface type, with letters at least 25 mm high.
  • The body text should be at least 9mm high.
  • This guarantees clear reading even from a distance of 2 metres. The text should be interspersed with the inclusion of figures.
  • The use of colour makes the poster more attractive and effective.
  • Please indicate your allocated presentation number and full name on the back of the poster, in the bottom left-hand corner.

Printing & Mounting

  • Presenters are required to print and bring their own posters to NIDO 2026.
  • Posters will be mounted using Velcro strips / Adhesive provided on-site.
  • Each poster board will be labelled with your poster number.

Poster Removal

  • Removal Time : 27 Jun 2026, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Posters not removed after the designated time will be discarded.
